You need to be 18+, hold a valid Kenyan ID, have an active M-Pesa number registered in your name, and live or work in the estate / town you want to recruit from. No fees, no stock to buy, no targets to hit before you earn.
What are the onboarding steps?+
Four steps: (1) Apply online in ~3 minutes, (2) Upload your ID & a selfie for KYC, (3) Lock your M-Pesa payout number, (4) Watch a 5-minute training video and download your referral link + QR code. Most agents are approved the same day.
Do I need experience or capital to start?+
Hapana. If you know your estate and you can hold a conversation in English or Kiswahili, you can earn. We give you the referral link, QR code, WhatsApp scripts, and a short training video — all free.
When and how do I get paid?+
Commissions land in your Soko wallet instantly when a provider pays for their subscription. You can request a withdrawal any day — Mon–Sat payouts arrive on your locked M-Pesa in under 60 seconds. Sunday & public-holiday requests are paid out by 10am the next working day.
Is there a cap on earnings?+
None. Sign up 5 providers or 500 — you earn 20% on every active subscription, every month, for as long as they stay subscribed.
Can someone change my M-Pesa number?+
No. Your payout number is locked after KYC verification. Only the Soko Mashinani admin team can update it — and only after you submit a change request with proof of identity.
What if a provider stops paying?+
You only earn while the provider's subscription is active. The moment they renew, your commission automatically resumes — no need to re-onboard them.
